Donald R. Cline
87, of Indianapolis, IN passed away February 10, 2014. Born October 10, 1926 in Westmoreland, TN., he was the son of the late John and Willie Mae (Keene) Cline. He married Ursula Greta Marie Schumacher on August 7, 1948 in Germany.
He was a Purdue graduate.
Donald was a tool and die supervisor for General Motors in Indianapolis for 43 years, retiring in 1992.
He was a veteran of the US Army WW II. Donald was a member of the Beech Grove Masonic Lodge # 694, the Murat Shrine, and the Scottish Rite in Indianapolis. He is survived by his wife, Ursula; 2 sons, Bernard (Joyce) Cline and Donald (Teresa) Cline II; 2 daughters, May Pippen and Dona (Bill) Thomas; four sisters, Lavon Wolski, Cynthia Kreitlein, Mary Fansler and Gladys Lee Cornett; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Hubert Cline.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday February 14, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN. 46143. Visitation is from 4 -8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. http://www.forestlawncemetery-fh.com
