Herberts F. Strelnieks

Herberts Fricis Strelnieks Of Milwaukee, formerly Indianapolis, died on April 12th at the age of 97. Herberts was born in Latvia on July 6th, 1908. He has lived in the United States since 1950. Herberts retired from the former Howe Engineering Co, later known as the National Steel Company. He was a longtime member of the Latvian Lutheran Church of Indianapolis, 3650 Guion Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222, where calling will start Monday, April 17th at 11 am, with service to follow at 12 noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Occupation Museum Fund of America, co Daina Albertins, 1053 Alder Lane, Naperville, IL 60540-7201. Herberts was preceded in death by his wife Elza, and is survived by his sons Andy, John, Vilnis (wife Maija), and daughter Mara (husband Monty Peffley), and by grandsons Erik Strelnieks (wife Beth), granddaughter Karin Strelnieks, granddaughter Laila Strelnieks, grandaughter Kristin (husband Jeremy Zeid), grandson Andrew (wife Lisa), niece Skaidrite Hildebrants, and many relatives in Latvia. www.flannerbuchanan.com
