Reverend Larry Lee Mann 67, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2009, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on August 27, 1942, he was the son of Robert C. and Mary Ruth (Maring) Mann. He graduated with a Master's Degree in Divinity from the Philippines. In 1972, he began his work as a missionary in the Philippines. He started with two churches and the ministry grew to over 40 churches. In the course of his 37 years as a missionary, he was also able to travel to Africa to start the missions there. Reverend Mann's last accomplishment in the Philippines was to complete the New Apostolic Faith Bible Institute Campus, which was dedicated in May of 2009. Reverend Mann married Lucy Dionelo on November 14, 1981, in the Philippines. He was a licensed minister by Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ, USA. Surviving him are his wife, Lucia "Lucy" Mann of Greenfield; children, Kelly Jo (Beboy) Diaz, Murna (Lucky) Howell, Lorna (Paul) Leyte, and Darryl (Sarah) Mann, all of Greenfield, and Dodoy (Jacie) Mann of Morristown; siblings, Roger Mann of Florida, Joann (Tim) Bloyd of Anderson, Rodney (Mary) Mann of Cloverdale, Pam (Jerry) Purdue of Markleville, Robert Mann, Jr., of Florida, Francis (Mark) Murdock of Anderson, Beth (Roy) Grissom of Anderson, and Melissa (Mark) Harper of Florida; sister-in-law, Lina Mann of Virginia; and grandchildren, Cora and Kyle Howell, Paige Mann, and Jireh Leyte. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Josiah Lee and Charity Luz Leyte; brother, Gary Mann; grandmother, Ethel Blessinger; and his parents. Visitation will be Sunday, September 13, 2009, from 2 p.m until 6 p.m. and Monday, September 14, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at 10 a.m. at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church located at 1202 E. 5th St, Greenfield, Indiana, 46140. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Reverend John Blystone, Reverend Eliezer Maxilom, and Reverend Wheeler Estepp will be officiating.
