Mark Hunt Obituary
Mark Eugene Hunt was born on March 6, 1965 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, in Washington D.C. Mark was called home to Heaven on August 21, 2010 at the age of 45. Mark was dedicated 12 year member of the San Antonio Police Department. Mark was preceded in death by his mother Ivona F. Hunt. Survivors include his father Marshall and brother Marvin Hunt of San Antonio, and numerous other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 30, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Castle Ridge Mortuary. Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Rainbow Hills Baptist Church, with Pastor Dennis Wall officiating. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi- Marian. Services under the direction of

No words can express how I feel for Mark's passing. He is so loved by all of his friends and family. I can't believe he's no longer with us physically. He has been and always will be missed.

I'm thankful to God for being considered one of Mark's friends. I remember him as one of the quiet "good" guys in high school. I'm so glad we reconnected earlier this year. I'm also glad I was able to attend his services. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Hunt family.

My Deepest Sympathy to Marsall, Marvin all of Mark's family and friends. I had the blessing of knowing Mark personally over the last 20yrs. He played a different role in all our lives, a son, a brother, a mentor and a friend. No matter what the love we have for him is one, ask anyone, they'll tell you the same, he brought smiles to our heart, joy when we had pain, the strength and love of one man that held all of us together even more now then ever, he isn't physically here but we still feel him near in every step we take and every move we make. I will always remember what a great friend Mark was to me. When I hear his name there is always a smile that follows. What a kind hearted person GOD gave us a chance to know. When I last talked to Mark he stated, "Don't forget me". And we never will.
