Robert V. "Bob" Abell
85, of Indianapolis, passed away December 27, 2011. He was born on April 30, 1926 to Russell and Mary Abell, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Helena Parsley, and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his wife Meriam in 1990. Robert retired as a barber from Lloyds Barber Shop. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan - Lawrence , 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family also on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 12:00 Noon until time of service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church or the charity of choice. Please visit
