W. Jean Whitton
77, of Indianapolis, passed away September 15, 2011. She was born March 26, 1934 in Batesville to the late John B. and Ethel M. Behlmer Hickman.
Jean was a CNA for 6 area nursing homes for 12 years, retiring in 1977.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Me morial Chapel , 9606 E. Washington St., with funeral services Monday at 2:00 p.m.
Jean is survived by her sons, William M., Joey A. and Bernie J. Whitton, and Daniel N. Fiscus; and daughter, Evelyn Whitton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Whitton; and daughter, Lisa A. Sayers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Mission.

Jean was a fellow Healthcare worker, and one of my favorite CNA's to work with. She always could make me smile and made a long shift that much more enjoyable. I was always impressed with her work ethic and I can not even count the number of patients who's lives Jean touched.
