Alan was my boss in the first job I ever had in 1960. He was setting up a lab at Sun Clothes in South Philly. I always thought that he would make a great teacher because of the calm and patient way he taught me so much. I knew he loved Frances and I was so pleased to see that they were married. As a Catholic boy I would ask him many questions about his Faith and he always took the time to explain what was happening especially around the various Holy Days. I could not ask for a better Mentor to help me get started in life. I am so sorry for your loss but I realize that I was fortunate to have known Alan.

" Thank You All, (Family & Friends) for your support & comfort in our time of need. We are truly grateful for having you in our lives... My father Alan, was not just my dad;- he was my friend, my teacher, my role model, my coach, & so much more. He was a very special man - & - he was a kind, gentle, caring, compassionate sole who brightened up my life, and the lives of those who had the chance to know him. For this, I am forever grateful. He will always be in my thoughts & he will forever have a special place in my heart."
Hold onto your loved ones and let them know that you care. We only have today, & we never know what tomorrow will bring.-
