ALAN, on May 26, 2016. Husband of Frances (nee Falcone). Father of Mark Lipschutz and Robert (Heather) Lipschutz. Brother of Bernard (Marlene) Lipschutz. Grand-father of Rachel, Philip, Samuel, and Sophia. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Sunday 3PM precisely at Shalom Memorial Park (sec. Maccabees), Huntingdon Valley. Family will return to the residence of Bernard and Marlene Lipschutz. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Special Olympics.

Alan was my boss in the first job I ever had in 1960. He was setting up a lab at Sun Clothes in South Philly. I always thought that he would make a great teacher because of the calm and patient way he taught me so much. I knew he loved Frances and I was so pleased to see that they were married. As a Catholic boy I would ask him many questions about his Faith and he always took the time to explain what was happening especially around the various Holy Days. I could not ask for a better Mentor to help me get started in life. I am so sorry for your loss but I realize that I was fortunate to have known Alan.

He was a very special man - & - he was a kind, gentle, caring, compassionate sole who brightened up my life, and the lives of those who had the chance to know him. For this, I am forever grateful. He will always be in my thoughts & he will forever have a special place in my heart."
