Alpheus McIlhenny Obituary
ALPHEUS M., age 87, March 12, 2008. A graduate of Frankford H.S. and Philadelphia Univ., he was the chief dyer at the Victor Dye Works of Philadelphia. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during W.W. II. He was a devoted fan of Frankford H.S. where he played football. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee White). Devoted father of Patricia Kelly (Ray) and Linda Stuckley (Mark); the proud brother of Jack McIlhenny, Matt McIlhenny, Tom McIlhenny, Francis McIlhenny, Eileen Newman, the late Sally Feenan and the late Gerald McIlhenny. He was the inspirational grand-father to MaryBeth Delso, Ray Kelly, Jr., Mark Stuckley, Jr., Matthew Stuckley, Bill Kelly and Mike Kelly. He was the loving great-grandfather to Maria Delso, Raymond, Megan and Ashley Rose Kelly. Relatives and friends are invited to call after 9 A.M. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Lower Makefield. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be at Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pennsbury H.S. Boys Lacrosse Team, 668 Stony Hill Road, -- MB 223, Yardley, PA 19067. Arrangements by

Aunt Del & Family:
I am so deeply saddened of the passing of Uncle AlF..We all "Loved" him and will miss him deeply. I know he is reunited with Gram-mom and Gram-pop and many other loved ones that were waiting for him with open arms. Your family will always be in our thoughts & prayers..

Dear Cousins,
Although our families were not close, I wanted to extend my sincere sympathies to you all.
My Mom (Bette) and Dad (Robert A. McIlhenny Jr.) often spoke about the cousins. I know Uncle Matt (he sang at my sister's wedding).
May God keep you in the hollow of his hands and loving arms.

Uncle Alph, You will be deeply missed by all the family. I can only hope you are with Grand Mom and Grand Pop, Uncle Gerald and my Mom Sally. I don't think I will ever forget your ice blue eyes and your commanding voice, they always reminded me of Grand Mom. Good Bye Uncle Alph
