ROSSI


ANGELO, age 88, longtime Devon resident and co-owner of ANRO Printing & Direct Mail died peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Rose (nee Spinelli). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Angelo was born in Malvern. The son of Angelo and Mary (nee Giovanni) Rossi, he graduated from Tredyffrin/ Easttown High School in 1941, was on their champion soccer team, and served in the U. S. Navy in the South Pacific. Joining his wife Rose in the printing business in 1953, they formed ANRO in Devon, expanding the facility 5 times and adding 2 locations. At the age of 85, again recognizing the need for growth, Angelo authorized the purchase and movement to a state-of-the-art corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility at Matlack Street in West Chester. ANRO has grown to be one of the 200 largest printing companies in North America. He was active in the company until his death.
Angelo was a member of Printcraft of America Printing Association, Berwyn Devon Business Association and Devon Strafford Lions Club. He was also an avid golfer belong-ing to Chester Valley, Llanarch and Moselem Springs Golf Clubs.
Angelo has been a lifetime parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, and a recipient of many awards and recognitions for his support of community and charity.
Friends and family are invited to attend his Viewing at ALLEVA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1724 E. Lancaster Ave., Paoli, on Sunday, June 6, from 4 to 7 P.M., and also at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Strafford on Monday, June 7, from 9 to 11:30 A.M., followed by Mass 11:30 A.M. Interment at St. Augustine Cemetery in King of Prussia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Angelo's memory to Our Lady of the Assumption Church Memorial Fund, 35 Old Eagle School Road, Strafford PA 19087, or the charity of your choice.

My condolences to the family of Ange... I worked for Ange and Rose in the early 80's at Anro and always remembered Ange as a great guy and a gentleman. Often saw him "sneek out" the shipping and receiving door of Anro and his buddies waiting for him to jump in the car to go golfing!! haha. Rest in Peace Ange. Tom Silva
