ARTHUR THOMAS (COL. USMC, Retired) age 88, of Audubon, on June 16, 2010. Born in Long Island, NY on January 26, 1922 . He was the son of the late J. Stevenson and Katherine (nee Duntze) Hill. Received PhB degree from Muhlenberg College in 1943 and MA degree from Columbia University in 1947. Served in the Marines during WWII, Korean Conflict, and Vietnam War. After USMC service was Director of Data Processing for the states of Delaware and New Hampshire. An avid photographer and world traveler, visiting Africa, Russia, Antarctica, Italy and China. Beloved husband of Lois (nee Sutton). Loving father of Christopher (Adele) Hill, Stephen (Dorothea) Hill, and Michael Hill. Also surviving are his sister, Margaret Tjeltveit, and grandchildren Shawn, Christie Anne, and Juliana, and great grandchildren Andrea, Luke, Phillip, and Evelynn. Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects at Arthur's Viewing on Monday June 21 from 7 to 9 P.M. at BOYD-HORROX FUNERAL HOME OF EAST NORRITON 1-800-GIVNISH. His Memorial Service will take place Tuesday at St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2725 Egypt Road, Audubon, PA 19403 at 11 A.M. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Student Conservation Assoc., P.O.
