CLAIRE A. (nee Carragher), on March 3, 2013. Devoted wife of the late Matthew J., beloved mother of Claire Mansfield (Marty), Janet Sullivan (Dennis) and Eileen Straub (the late David), loving grand-mother of 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Her Viewing Fri. eve. 7 until 9 P.M. THE REILLY FUNERAL HOME, 2632 E. Allegheny Ave. On Saturday morning everyone is invited to attend Her Funeral 9 A.M. Nativity BVM Church, Belgrade St. and E. Allegheny Ave. 19134. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 A.M. with interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cem. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Convent of Divine Love (Pink Sisters), 2212 Green St., Phila., PA 19130 in Claire's memory.

We were sorry to hear of your loss and extend our condolences. The Wistaria Street neighbors knew her as thee "Nan", the Straub's grandmother. The Nan watched over David, Lindsay, and Matt like a lioness protecting her cubs, ever peering out the front door keeping them in her sight and close. They now have a special guardian angel watching them and keeping them close from heaven's door.

I got to know Claire when I visited my loving friend and companion, Marshall Bowen, in Room 512. I always enjoyed talking with her, and she would tell be to be careful when I would leave to go home. She will be surely missed.

If flowers grow in heaven,
Lord, then pick a bunch for me.
Then place them in my mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.
