DAVID CARTWRIGHT BURT

BURT DAVID CARTWRIGHT Age 61, of Philadelphia, died in hospice care in Pittsburgh on July 2, 2021, of cancer. He was employed as a research analyst in the development department at Temple University. Dave graduated from Upper Merion High School in 1977, and studied at the Culinary Institute of America and at Temple. He worked at various locations in the hospitality industry before his employment at Temple. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his caring attitude towards all who knew him. He was pre-deceased by his parents, George and Emma Jean Cartwright Burt, who resided for some years in King of Prussia, his brother Douglas Burt of Southampton, and his sister Janice Burt Harbison of Altamonte Springs, Florida. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Karen Burt of Southampton, a brother-in-law, William Harbison, of Jeffersonville, two nieces and a nephew, and his beloved dog, Ned.
