Elaine Gluck Obituary
ELAINE (nee Daniels), age 71, of Voorhees, NJ, died January 25, 2008. She was the devoted wife of 52 years of Arie. Loving mother of Roni Detrick (Paul), Ruth and Gill (Jodi). Proud grandmother of Sara, Samuel, Ellie, Sydney, Coby, Mya and Ruby. Dear sister of Sandra Goldstein (Dan). Elaine had her B.S. from NYU and her Master's from Rutgers. Retired Director of Physical Therapy at Camden County Health Services Center. Elaine shared her love of reading as an enthusiastic volunteer for Bookmates. Relatives and friends are invited Monday beginning 11:15 A.M. to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS INC., 2001 Berlin Rd., Cherry Hill NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 12 noon. Int. Crescent Mem. Park. Shiva will be observed at the Gluck residence on Mon., Tues. and Wed. If so desired, contributions in her memory maty be made to Planned Parenthood or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

To the family, you have my deepest sympathy. I will always remember Mrs. Gluck, she had a very encouraging spirit and didn't keep it to herself. When I was in college, she wrote me and kept me encouraged. My mother (Laura) could not have had a better supervisor.

Arie, Ronnie, Ruth & Gill,
I remember a smiling face, greeting us all at the beginning of camp each year.
Elaine taught my group how to pick strawberries and then, how to put up jam. With my sister Edie's group, she taught them all how to crochet little caps. Elaine will be missed. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Elaine was always smiling and always cheerful; it always appeared to me that nothing could bring her down. Arie, Roni, Ruth, Gill and all your kids, you will have more friends with you up there than you can count. Remember there are many of us far away who also thinking of you.

I was saddened to hear of Elaine's passing, and I send my deepest sympathy to all those she loved and whom loved her. I had the pleasure of being one of Elaine's Fitness Instructors over the past five years at Virtua, the YMCA, and more recently at the JCC in Cherry Hill. She was a pleasure to have in class. We would share fitness ideas from the classes she taught as well. She was full of positive energy and always brought sunshine in to a room. I will miss her smile and her friendship. She will be missed by more people than you will know.
