A dear friend. Great sense of humor and humility. He never let politics get to him nor let those differences get in the way of our friendship.

I just heard this sad news. I did a transaction with Kevin a number of years ago and would always meet with him at the various business development meetings (JPM and Bio) over the years. With Covid canceling these meetings we hadn't connected in a while. Very sad to learn this news as Kevin was a great person to do business with. Always enjoyed catching up with him and sharing stories of our families. My deepest condolences to the family.

I was preparing for my 40th reunion at Georgetown University.. and sadly I discovered the news of Kevin´s passing. Although it´s been a couple of years at this point, I would like to express my condolences and express my appreciation that I knew such a great guy.
I met Kevin during my sophomore year at Georgetown University. I was a shy and socially awkward kid. However, Kevin embraced me and showed a kindness of spirit that I will never forget. He always made sure that he included me in any social activities that he was participating in. Although I hadn´t seen Kevin for years, I have never forgotten his kind spirit... and the Heinekens that we imbibed as we talked over life and he shared his insight. Kevin.. your kindness will not be forgotten May God bless him

I worked with Kevin for many years and will remember him fondly as a very nice guy who worked very hard and always had a good sense of humor. We enjoyed many good chats at the office and other work events over the years. It's incredibly hard to believe he has passed and so suddenly. I didn't know you Claire or Elise but your dad spoke of many wonderful trips and other memories you shared with him. My very best wishes to you and the rest of his loved ones during this tough time.

Claire and Elise,
Your father was admired by all of us in the Notre Dame community. We watched him raise two girls with grace, dedication and a sense of humor. You are loved by so many and are in our thoughts more than you can know.

I will offer one last ‘HIGGINS!!!’ shouted emphatically from the rooftops. For those of you who don’t know me, I have maintained this ritual ever since first becoming friends with Kevin back at Chaminade High School in 1978, where we met as we were both in Brother Hartz’s freshman German class. Usually the response from Kevin following my shout was, a low decibel ‘Wick’
Kevin then followed me to Georgetown University (haha) where we lived on the same dorm floor freshman and sophomore year and as roommates the final 2 years of college – Bob Ditaranti providing the spark to make that happen. Last time we were able to get together was in 2019 in North Carolina at Bob Ds house.
Many thoughts follow this train to the current day – two wonderful daughters Claire and Elise; Ann Michele (who would have believed Kevin would be the first of all the roommates to get married?! You mean not everyone was a sports fan and enjoyed a tasty Molson beer?). She was wonderful, and the incredible Joan who provided companionship, love and a shared life with Kevin, whom Paula and I were so fortunate enough to meet and get to know, keeping the flame alive.
Kevin touched many folks throughout his life – here’s to keeping that memory alive...

Over the years I had the pleasure to plan trips with Kevin. His desire to enrich the lives of Elise and Claire to witness the beautiful world we share was a joy to see. Elise and Claire, you will carry throughout your lives those irreplacable memories. I am thinking of you. I will miss your dad.

To All,
Your father was such a kind and thoughtful man. He always had a polite and erudite way of expressing his ideas at Radnor Township meetings. What a loss for you and our community. It was my honor to know him just a little. May he rest eternally in peace.

This is hitting me hard. Even though I hadn't seen Kevin much since I moved to Cali many years ago, I just assumed I'd see him every year at a conference.. During my very first int'l business trip at Wyeth, I decided to get adventurous w/ food; I ordered giant shrimp and got severely food sick. Kevin covered for me the entire week while I rested in hotel room and even checked on me. When we got back, he never mentioned anything to anyone nor acted like I owed him a favor, though he did make lighthearted comments about shrimp next time we were at a restaurant :) Kevin was always approachable, generous w/ his knowledge, unassuming, a great mentor, and overall an amazing human being. He will be missed.
