Brian opened his heart and his wine cellar to me. I have many memories, some of them foggier than others, of laughter and smiles with him and with Floranne. He is proof that life really is too short to drink cheap wine! Cheers to Brian and the Burns family he loved so much.

Knowing Brian since 1974 and graduating High School with him. I have to pay tribute and salute him for the way he lived his life, cherished the people in his life, had fun, worked hard, loved, cried and most of all smiled.
From all the love and support I have witnessed-- You succeeded in the "life mission". We could all use Brian as an example of how we should live our lives.
God bless you.........

What an extraordinary man!
Brian unassumingly touched so many, in so many incredible ways: with his love, devotion, friendliness, wisdom, grace, humor, depth of character, charm, willingness, hospitality, integrity, attention to detail, curiosity, goodwill, sense of adventure, honesty, poise, spontaneity, warmth, openness, laughter, courage, frankness, generosity, merriment, and kindness.
It’s our turn to respect him by incorporating his characteristics into ours.

The very first time I meet Brian (highschool)I look at Floranne and said he is P-Perfect and that was my nickname for him from that day on, let me explain. Here was a tall dark handsome guy who reached out his hand and said “Hi I’m Brian Burns “ with a big smile, great hair, great teeth, never a wrinkle in those khaki’s or shorts or golf shirt, I though to my self this guy has class and a great car!!! and is very funny to boot. Brian never had a bad word to say and put up with a lot crazy times (details not necessary ;) I can say that P-Perfect found his perfect lady as she her man we are luck to have them both, in a world filled with negatives its nice to know that there are positives Brian P-Perfect……..
PS I still have the penny….
Love,
Kitty

When reflecting on my brother's death, I have realized how this one event has impacted so many lives. In the future when we are faced with a tough decision we need to ask ourselves "what would Brian do?". Folowing this path will make the world a better place, and the love and goodness that was my brother Brian will live on forever.

Although we only became close in the last three years or so, we have wonderful memories to last us a life time.

Brian Burns was, first, the finest man I have ever met. Second, he was the most fair, unbiased, open, and considerate Boss I have ever worked for. Having Floranne in the office as well was an added bonus. I felt like part of the family for many years. When the office broke apart I felt the loss immediately.
Now, as life goes on, I remember fondly my time as a Desso employee but moreso as a part of the Burns' family.
He will be missed by all.
Love,
Michelle

I miss Uncle BriBri, but at least now when I play foosball he'll always be on my team (as opposed to the winning one...).

To a man I wish I could have known better. I am thankful for the time we had and the chance to hear how you impacted the lives of everyone around you. I love you Uncle Bri.

I miss my dear dear dear sweet BB. I miss his smile, his kindness, his sweetness, his love, his caring, his "I love you guys", his toleration of my silliness, him putting others before himself; I just miss his being. Always will.

The passing down of memories is the strongest link in the delicate bridge that binds us as people. What we hold in our hearts is truly the fiercest component of our humanity. Brian's heart was filled with kindness and love.
