Dear Kitty and All the Wolfinger Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the death of your most special Bob. Our memories of Bob are those of fun, laughter and love of all. Most special are the memories of all the Christmas Eve's shared with us and our parents (Joe and Anne Golden) dating back to the 1970's. Bob will always hold a special place in our hearts! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love, Jack and Dot

I can recall with envy that the Chief was usually the first to see the humor in the job and sometimes the only one with the courage to crack a smile. We'll miss you, Bob!
My prayers to his family.

Frank and I have known "Grandpop" for only a short time since Kara came into our lives through Frank, Jr. We instantly loved him for who he was as a person and for his lively stories. In spite of his full life and "celebrity" status, he was a humble man who respected everyone that he met and made each person feel special. We will miss the constant "twinkle" in his eye and the warmth and genuine humanity that he exhibited. He was a very special person and made a lasting impression on all of us. Kitty and All, please be comforted in knowing that you did all that you could for him. You always made him feel loved and cherished. That love came across to all of us who knew him and you. It is our great privilege to have known him and to be a part of your extended family. Our hearts share your loss and you will remain in our thoughts and prayers always. Love, Frank and Irene

There is a quote by the writer Maya Angelou that says "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." Bob Wolfinger had the wisdom to recognize this...he was a GREAT storyteller and he loved sharing his stories with others. I can remember him always have a few good stories for me every time I saw him. His stories were always interesting, based on his rich, full life of experiences and the fascinating people he met along the way. It's too bad that he never got to write a book! But, he made an impression on everyone he met and his memory will live on in all those whose lives he touched along the way. I feel honored and privledged to have known him.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Kitty and her entire family. Bob will be greatly missed...

Hello there Grammom and Grandpop!
We meet 8 years ago.
From the stories Kara told me, I have to say I was a little intimidated meeting you the first time. Once I was able to spend time with you, and hear the stories of your life, it made me realize how special you are and what an incredible life you have had. I remember hearing the stories of Rizzo, the Pope, and Mother Theresa, I remember me and Kara coming to your house and making Easter eggs with you, and who can forget the great feasts we cooked up down the shore, and you always enjoyed every last bite.
You made me feel like one of your own grandchildren and I greatly appreciate that, even though you would call me Bob by mistake.
I looked up to you and I never really told you this in person, and now I wish I did. I never really knew my own grandfathers, since they both passed away when I was young. Meeting Kara gave me the opportunity to have one again, and even though our time together may have been short, I cherished the time I spent with you.
Love you Grandpop and I hope to see you one day soon.
Miss you "Grandpop"
Love always,
Frank
