ROGER GRANT GEYER

GEYER ROGER GRANT 82, of Inman, SC, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at his home. He was the widower of Rosemary Geyer, who died in 2017. Mr. Geyer was a native of Philadelphia, PA and a son of the late Clyde and Elizabeth Gibson Geyer. He was a designer with Progress Lighting for some 46 years. He is survived by sons: James Kirby and friend, Dia, and Dr. Thomas Kirby; daughters and sons in-law: Nancy and James Crocker, Lisa and Wade Barnett, Laurie and Bill Spencer, and Kunthea Cheam Kirby; eight grandchildren: Amber (Zach) Thomas, Kirby (Rebecca) Mack, T. J. (Brooke) Mack, Erica (Victor) Richardson, Ray (Alice) Richardson, Kaylee, Ethan, and Evan Spencer; seven great grandchildren: Emma Thomas, Michael Thomas, Jesse Mack, Meredith Mack, Ava Thomas, Pippa Mack, and Henry Mack; sisters: Joan Shipman, Betty (Herb) Spencer. He was predeceased by an aunt: Marion Gibson and a brother-in-law: Gil Shipman. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at EGGERS FUNERAL HOME OF BOILING SPRINGS, SC. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel officiated by Chaplain Tawana Scott.
