Trent A. Harris
Trent Anderson Harris, 77, of Stafford County passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at his home with his family at his side.
Born May 30, 1931, in Willis, Trent was a son of the late Claude and Ada Moles Harris.
Mr. Harris retired from Shenandoah's Pride Dairy after 42 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Trent was much loved and respected in his community.
Trent leaves his beloved wife of 47 years, Joyce Corrine Harris; two loving daughters, Shelby Harris Jones and Angela Ellis and her husband, Vincent; six grandchildren, Savannah and Katie Jones, Jacob Stanford, and Krista, Jessica and Lauren Ellis; three sisters, Vesta Dunn, Hazel Young and Velva Rea East; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Buffalo Mountain Presbyterian Church in Willis, with Pastor Joe Quesenberry and Pastor Elmon Thompson officiating. Interment followed in the Harris family cemetery with military honors by Floyd VFW Post 7854 and American Legion Post 127.
Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd, handled the arrangements.
