Shirley Kurschenski Obituary

Shirley Kurschenski passed away on July 31, 2014.
She and her husband, Ski (Edgar), were married on Dec. 27, 1955. Ski passed away on April 8, 2003. Oscoda had been their home since 1972. She was an Auxiliary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3735 and the American Legion Post 274.
She bowled at Vista Lanes for over 25 years and also sang for the Jill Pine Chapter of the Sweet Adelines for many years. She was well known for her paintings and has won numerous awards all over the states and Europe.
She was preceded in death by parents, Dr. Louis and Margaret Lintz; and one sister and one brother. She is survived by two sister-in-laws, one niece and two nephews and very special friends, the Agtergael family and Diane and Terry McGuire.
Private arrangements have been made and she will be interred with her husband in Oscoda Pinecrest Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Oscoda VFW and condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.

I am so very sorry to hear that we have lost Shirley.....when
I lived in Oscoda, Shirley and Skip were always together and always had kind words to say. Rest in peace our sweet Shirley, and hug Skip for us......you will be so very missed indeed.
