Maxine Satterfield Obituary

Maxine Josephine Satterfield Maxine Josephine Satterfield of Knoxville, TN (most recently of Beaufort, SC), age 89, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016, after a lengthy illness. She spent the day surrounded by loved ones and caretakers, and passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born Maxine Olmstead, the third of eight children of William and Rosetta Olmstead in Deer Lodge, TN on June 23, 1927. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Cagney and son-in-law Phil; grandchildren, Chris and Erin Cagney; great grandchild, Corbin L'Oiseau; brother, Robert Olmstead; and many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law. Special thanks to the staff at River Oaks Assisted Living for taking exceptional care of Maxine. Maxine will be laid to rest with her husband. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association 1545 Western Ave, Suite 110A, Knoxville, TN 37921.
