Frank Molea Obituary

LYNN -- Frank C. Molea, 78, passed away Sept. 9, 2017 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by the love, comfort and care of his family and friends following a short illness. He grew up in Boston, and he served honorably in the Coast Guard for four years.  He was a union bricklayer, and worked for the MBTA for 23 years. Frank was a member of the Saugus-Everett Elks.  He enjoyed any opportunity to spend time with his family and friends.  His love of food and cooking always made him a sought-after host or guest to any event.   He is survived by his bride of 53 years Janet (Wall), and his children, Marie Molea, Frank Molea and his wife Linda, Thomas Molea and his wife Shannon, his grandchildren John, Keara, Krysta and Jeremy Calnan, Frank, Cassie, Keriann, and Kirstin Molea, Meaghan and TJ Molea, Christian Burt and Gianna Molea, his great-grandchildren Hailey Calnan and Frankie Molea. He is also survived by his brother Stephen Molea, his brother-in-law Richard Wall and his wife Joan, his sister-in-law Carole Murray and her husband Donald, his sister-in-law Kathleen Bates and her husband William, his sister-in-law Rosemarie Molea, dear friend Rita Godbout, and many nieces, nephews and good friends. He was pre-deceased by his father and mother Stephen and Marie Molea, sister Anna Shea and her husband Robert, his brothers Philip and Nicky Molea, and his sister Kathryn Izzo. Service information: A memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 571 Boston St., Lynn, MA, at 10 a.m. on Oct. 8, 2017. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Donations in Franks memory may be made to the Chelsea Soldiers Home, Chelsea, the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, or to the charity of your choice.
