I watched Jim pick up a Us flag that was all dirty laying on the ground. He cleaned it off and folded it. He would talk about the constitution to me. I loved that guy. A true patriot. My he rest in peace.

Jim you were a great friend with a heart of gold. I am very saddened and heart broken about your passing.
I regret NOT going down ( up ) to visit you, I hope now you get the piece and rest that you deserve. I will miss talking to you every couple of weeks or so.
Jim you were definitely one of the good ones.

I met Jim in the neighborhood when I first worked at John's Oil in 1980.When he came to work,he immediately left his mark as the ultimate team player and superb technition who could fabricate and fix anything. When he settled in Monroe,he would always call me in Summerville,SC to be sure we were ok when severe weather hit the Carolinas.A great friend will be sorely missed.
