Ruth E. Sweitzer

Ruth E. Sweitzer, 77, of Yucaipa passed away June 9, 2005, at home. She was born September 11, 1927, in Zelienople, Pennsylvania and was a former resident of Pomona. She moved to Claremont in 1956, then to Upland in 1969, and finally to Yucaipa in 2004. Ruth earned her AA degree from Chaffey College, and was a document technician for 10 years at General Dynamics. She was a member of the square dan ce club, the Con-Variety Stoppers of Pomona. Ruth is survived by her husband, Raymond Sweitzer; sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Marilyn Sweitzer of Yucaipa, Ray and Jan Sweitzer of Victorville, Gary and Diane Sweitzer of Yucaipa; brother, George Tokos of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren, Robert, Jill, Chris, Kate, Michael, John, Amberly, Sean and Seth; and four great-grandchildren, Tony, Joseph, Katlynn, and Daniel. Private services were held at Bellevue Memorial Park Mausoleum, Ontario. Todd Memor ial Chapel, Pomona, was in charge of arrangements.
