Danny Barker Obituary
Darden - Danny Ray Barker, age 69, of Darden passed away Friday December 7, 2018 in Jackson, TN. He served with the City of Lexington for 35 years, serving 18 years as Chief of the Fire Department. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served as veteran's service officer for Henderson County for approximately 40 years. He is survived by his wife ; Janice Reeves Barker, a daughter; Susan (Kenny) Small of Lexington, a brother; Lanny (Mary Pat) Barker of Indianapolis, and a grandson; Zachary Small. He was preceded in death by his parents Dee Witt and Maxine Barker. Funeral services will be Tuesday December 11 at 2PM at Reeds Chapel. Burial will follow in the Darden Cemetery with military honors. Visitation with the family will be Monday 11AM-9PM and Tuesday 9AM until service.
