Timothy Carrier Obituary
He was born on September 19, 1952, to the late Kenneth G. and Virginia M. (Dickey) Carrier in Brookville, Pa. Tim attended the Brookville High School and later graduated from Jeff Tech with the class of 1970. He was a part of the first graduating class in the Autobody course offered at Jeff Tech. Tim was self-employed working many years in the autobody industry for various businesses. Later in his life, he would drive the local Amish community members around to the places they needed to go.
He loved to go fishing especially at his favorite spot called "Bed Bug." He also enjoyed going hunting throughout his life. He would tinker with anything he could in his garage. Tim collected old metal toy cars and trucks. He loved collecting and reselling antiques he would find at flea markets. He enjoyed playing pool, even after he moved into his apartment. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He would get them all wound up, and then send them home to their parents.
Tim is survived by three children: Kenneth (Rebecca) Carrier, Jennifer (Carl) Richter of Brookville, Pa., and Andrew Carrier; four grandchildren: Alayna and Evan Carrier, and Alexis and Emily Richter; four siblings: Susan (Robert) Carberry of St. Marys, Pa., Thomas (Sandra) Carrier of Brookville, Pa., Janet (William) Sarvey of Brookville, Pa., and Jeffrey (Jacquelyn) Carrier of Brookville, Pa., as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the McKinney – d'Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main St, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, immediately following the viewing, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Joni Williams. Interment will take place privately by the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Tim's name to the American Heart Association.
