Matthew Lewis Obituary
COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. - Matthew "Matt" Lewis was born Jan. 18, 1970, to Lee and Marilee Lewis of Jonesboro and died Dec. 18, 2022.
Matt attended Jonesboro Public Schools and graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1988.
Matthew was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Monterie Lewis, and his maternal grandparents, Luther and Susie Hazlewood.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Amanda Day Lewis of Collierville, Tenn.; his parents, Lee and Marilee Lewis of Bentonville; his sister, Jennifer Smith, and his favorite niece, Katie Smith, both of Bentonville; his aunt, Mary Wright of Jonesboro; his aunts, Merle Wymer and Judi Sawyer; and many cousins on both sides of the family.
Funeral service will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 W. Poplar Ave. Burial will follow in Collierville Cemetery.

My sincere deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of Matthew. He will be greatly missed. I will personally miss hearing him say "hidy ho neighbor" when i greet him for a meeting. I am so sorry for your loss.
