Dean Bergman Obituary

Dr. Dean Frederick Bergman, 83, of Lincoln, NE passed away on October 2, 2024. He was born June 17, 1941, in Osborne, KS to Pete and Beatrice Bergman.
Dean was involved in the educational sector his entire career, this includes science teacher, school administrator, and being the administrator in the Education Technology Center for the Nebraska Department of Education. His interests included photography, archery hunting, fishing, camping, knife making, and collecting early man artifacts. He also loved spending time with his family including children and grandchildren.
Family members include his wife of 60 years Patti (Percival), daughter, Sue (Matt) Hermanson, son, Robert Bergman; grandchildren, Mia (Matthew) Sievert, Seth (Courtny) Bergman, and Zachary Bergman, great-grandchildren, Noah Bergman and Chase Bergman.
Preceded in death by, parents, brothers, Robert and John.
There will be no service.
Memorials may be directed to the family In Lieu of Flowers.
