John Wheeler Boyd, Jr.
September 13, 1947 - November 13, 2022
John Wheeler Boyd, Jr., was born to John Wheeler and Katheryn Elizabeth (Parker) Boyd in Superior, Wisconsin, on Sept. 13, 1947. John married Helen Mittleider on Aug. 3, 1969. He was an educator and musician, teaching at the high school and university levels. John passed away on Nov. 13, 2022.
John is survived by his wife, Helen, daughter, Lisa (Todd) Bowen, son, Jeff (Charissa) Boyd, and grandchildren, Julian, Evan, Emory, and Victor. John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katheryn Boyd.
A memorial will be held at College View Church, 4801 Prescott Ave, Lincoln, NE on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 2:00 p.m.
