Dear Peggy, Bernie Jr., J.J. and Jane,
My heartfelt sympathies on the loss of such a wonderful man. I remember meeting Bernie at your Cedar Lake home in the early 1970's and many times afterward at The Town Club. I was amazed that he always remembered me and he was so genuinely nice. Just a great people-person.
My wife Erin and I are leaving town today and regret not being able to be present in person. My mother and father, Howard and Rosemary Moebius send their sympathy as well.
Take care and our best to your families in this time of sadness.
Respectfully,
Aurora B

I had the priviledge of working with Bernard's granddaughter Brooke for a while in the Zoological Society's Education Dept. While I didn't know Bernard, my prayers and thoughts are with the family at this time.
