Elvis "Al" Walker

Waukesha - Al was born to Eternal Life July 28, 2021, age 94. Al's life ended as he lived his life, a very proud man. He was the loving husband of Finnette Walker for 72 years. Beloved father of Bonnie (Richard)Raab, Robyn (David)Ashby, Owen (Katelyn), Laurie(Steve)Linstead, Howard (Susan) and Allen. Grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of six.

Al started his working career in a hospital, where he met the love of his life, Finnette Fitz. He served his country at the end of WWII. Upon returning to St. Paul, MN he started working at Hoerner Waldorf. Al and Finnette were married in 1949. The family was transferred to Wisconsin in 1965. In 1978 he followed a dream to PA to bring a company that was in trouble back to profitability. He retired in 1985. Al and Finnette moved back to the midwest to be closer to most of their family that lived in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Al enjoyed his retirement by spending time with his family, working in his yard and working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

There will be a private family service in the future.

Elvis has left the building.

My condolences to all the family.I have a lot of great memories of him. I think one that brings laughter is when Laurie and I went out dancing And Dad gave us directions that we .....landed in Fond du lac!!!!
