My sincerest condolences to the daughter and sons of Professor Khatchadourian during this time of great sorrow. I am grateful that I'd had an opportunity to meet and visit with your father. He was kind and welcoming to me and it was a true pleasure to converse with him. I feel the pain of your loss. I am very sorry.

Knowing Haig and Arpine' has been one of the dearest blessings of my life. My heart and prayers go out to the family. Your Dad was a sweet, wise soul whose kindness and love were extended to so many. Our family was certainly blessed and I will always smile upon memories of Haig and his quick wit, brilliant insights, and tender heart.
Much love and prayers,

Professor Haig Khatchadourian was a much respected faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; his many scholarly contributions helped to burnish its national and international reputation to the peak it has reached in recent years. I express my condolences to his loved ones who can take pride in his achievements.

Sonia,
I met your dad about 2 years ago to possibly help with a paper and you also invited me to a Christmas get-together at his house in 2014. So my meeting with him was brief, but he was memorable. I know you were so good to him. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I am so grateful to have met Haig, talked at the dinner table with him, danced at a wedding with him. He encouraged me to be my full loving self in a way only a uncle-philosopher-poet could. To walk just a short distance with him was a tremendous gift. My love to his family, and to his friends and colleagues.
