Fritz Corpuz Obituary
Fritz grew up in Juneau and attended Juneau schools. He worked various Janitorial and construction jobs in Juneau. He later moved to Anchorage where he opened his snow plowing business and continued to work until his death. Those who knew Fritz can remember him as a kind, caring and generous person who would rather give than receive.
Fritz was preceded in death by his parents Dony Sr. and Eduvigis Corpuz. He is survived by his brother Dony Jr. of San Francisco, sisters Edna Mueca of Juneau and Judy Hughes of Georgia.
Fritz was cremated and his remains will be buried along with his parents in Juneau. No services will be held per his request. Donations can be made to your favorite charity.

Fritz was a wonderfully warm-hearted man. He always demonstrated caring and generosity toward others. For many years he was highly supportive of his many friends and acquaintances in the LGBTQ community in Anchorage. On behalf of all of us in the community, I express my deepest gratitude to Fritz for his compassionate warmth.

Fritz was one of my best buds way back when. He was always kind and decent to me not to mention a great listener. He accepted me as I am faults and all without judgement. At a trying time in my life I really needed someone to just listen, and not judge. I will miss you forever, Fritz. You are as decent a man as I ever did meet. The most decent. The most kind. You taught me I could trust, gave me the confidence I needed to venture out of my shell, capable of making true friendship. A true connection. Thank you for the times you were there for me. I will never, never forget you. You were here. And you made a difference. And you will now inspire me to keep my chin up, to be here, in the present the best I can, and maybe make a difference as well.

Fritz and I started kindergarten together and continued being classmates through St. Ann´s. I have good memories of him. He was a good guy. Condolences to the family. RIP.
