Passed away after a long illness on February 20, 2010 surrounded with love from his family. Ken was born October 13, 1955 in Three Rivers, MI to the proud parents of Dennis and Ruth (Buel) Slack. Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, and one brother, David Allen Slack plus several aunts and uncles. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving family, father, Dennis Robert Slack; one brother, Michael Wayne Slack; one sister, Marilyn Kay-Kahler Salck (Berlin M. Kunz Jr. "Fuzz"); seven nieces and nephews, Jennifer Miller, Edward Slack and Anthony Verhage, Allen Kahler, Christal Slack, Andrew and Jodi (Perkins) Kahler; seven great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Hohner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 with one hour visitation prior to service at the Hohner Funeral Home with Marilyn Kahler Slack presiding over services. Interment will be held in Moorepark Cemetery. Memorials may be donated to the American Lung Association or the Three Rivers Health Respite Suites. Envelopes available at the funeral home. Everyone is invited to a luncheon and time of fellowship following Ken's services at the American Legion of Three Rivers.
