Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family with the loss of Mr. Mortensen. I know my own Dad always enjoyed visiting with Mike at football games at Mattawan when my brother, Don was playing.

Cannot express enough my sadness. I've known Mike since I was 8 years old. He umpired virtually every little league game I ever pitched and his son, caught virtually the same! As adults we had a great friendship. We often ran in to Mike and Linda when we were out and about and never, at any time, did we not sit and talk golf, family and friends! I will miss you Mr. Mortensen, a friend I consider you, your family I treasure and for the last time...."Vandenberg hits the ball further than I ever did, but I'm a better putter" God speed to you my friend. Tell my dad and my brother, I'm keeping an eye on things here okay?

Linda, as I mentioned on the phone tonight with you the love and intake you both had for me was priceless while my parents Wintered in Florida was priceless and it was an honor to meet and spend time with other families and seeing the dynamics and other families was what I say make me who I am. I'll never forget your family and you working at Hagen and Mike with Bellaire and then his own business to the visit you both and stopping in on me at my house in May. I will really miss Mike and so wish for you the best after 51 years with a great man happiness and peace of his eternal healing and your continued awesome bond and love that has shined through your raising of beautiful children, Grand Children and now Great Grandchild. Thank YOU for keeping me in the loop of your family for all these 40 plus years and for all the love you all have expressed for me. GOD SPEED Micheal SR and may you rest eternally healed in a beautiful Heavenly place for all of us to reunite someday. May we all smile and laugh with you watching from above. Linda, Mike and Gail sending you our most sincere Condolences and Peace to you all. Never will forget your Husband, Father, Grand Father as he was a very unique and loving individual.
