Renate and Family,
They say that you can choose your friends, but you have to take what you get when it comes to family. And what we got with Robert was much better than we could have chosen. Katherine and I and our family feel blessed to be part of your family. Robert has always been an ideal role model for the rest of us and great fun to be with. He is so humble, kind, patient and loving that he is in a league of his own. We treasure the memories we have of Robert and your wonderful family. My words cannot tell the depth of our love for you. If we can ever be helpful to your family, please let us know.

I would not be the Orientation and Mobility Specialist that I am today had it not been for Bob. He taught me everything I know. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

God blesses our lives in many ways. One of those is through those who come into our lives, and if we are lucky, who we can know as a friend. Bob was a true professional, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and a all around kind hearted person. We will remember his gentle nature and the good times we shared. We look forward to when we will see him again.
