Uncle Curtis will be greatly missed. I'm so sad to know The Man with the Wealth of Knowledge is no longer with us. I appreciate all the knowledge and wisdom he's shared with me and my whole family. I speak for ALL 6 of my siblings and my mother when I say Thank You. We will never forget all the kind things you've done for us. You blessed us. You planted a seed in our ministry. We thank God for you. We will never forget you. You will always be in our heart's. I've always known my cousin Johnnie Mae was blessed to have you as a husband. I'm sorry I can't attend. I love you. To the family I love you and my heart is with you. You're in my prayers. Each and every one of you. I truly wish I was there with you.

To the family and friends of Mr. Carthen,
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times that you shared together. May our wonderful Heavenly Father provide you with the support and care that you need. (Psalms 145:17-19)

Curtis was a big cousin that I always would light up when I saw him. He always had some jokes to tell me as a little boy. I am really going to miss him physically, but looking at his children brings about happy memories as a child for me. Miss you Big Cousin LaVance.
