Wichita, Kansas - Delmar Ray Dietrich passed away on May 12, 2021. He was born September 2, 1947 to Louis and Catherine Dietrich. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra Dietrich. He is also survived by two brothers, Donnie and Jerry Dietrich, and many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Catherine Dietrich and one brother Ron Dietrich. Delmar was a life-long resident of the Wichita area. He graduated high school from Wichita Heights High School in 1965. Delmar retired from Boeing after 27 years as Supervisor in the tooling jig shop. He also ran and maintained a successful rental property company with his wife. Delmar enjoyed an adventurous Life with Sandy. They visited the Sea of Cortez in Mexico for several years where they sailed and spear fished. Delmar also loved snow skiing. In his younger years, he liked to ride Motorcycles and dirt bikes and also race his 1957 Chevy. There will be a memorial in Delmar's honor at Cochran Mortuary and Crematory, 1411 N. Broadway, Wichita, Kansas 67214 on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 3pm.

Sending hugs and Love to Sandy and Family.
There isn't anything that Delmar couldn't fix or repair and he loved the challenge. His sense of humor was infectious and would even get us involved in his hi-jinx. If we ever needed his help, we could twist his arm by offering a good home cooked meal.
Delmar loved and cherished Sandy and all her many animals.
There are so many great memories over the years.
We are sorry to miss the memorial.
