MT. HOPE - Pierce, Freddie, 77, retired VFW State Service Officer, died March 28, 2010. Born January 16, 1933 to Sherman and Dely (Hartwick) Pierce in Curtis, AR. He married Marian Diane Spain on March 27, 1961 in Clovis, NM. Preceded in death by daughter, Wilma Sue Pierce and 6 brothers and sisters. Survived by wife, Marian Diane Pierce of Mt. Hope; sons, Gary (Jenny) Pierce of Prairie Village, Raubin (Kelly) Pierce of Topeka; daughter, Freddie Jo (Phillip) Beavers of Pampa, TX; brothers, Bill Pierce and Joe Pierce, both of Fairfield, CA, and Franklin Pierce of San Angelo, TX; sister, Hazel Pauline Timmons of Ft. Worth, TX; and 5 grandchildren. Funeral Services 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 31, at United Methodist Church, Mt. Hope with Rev. Donna Wise officiating. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
