Marilyn Adams Obituary

Adams, Marilyn Margaret, 77, joined her family in heaven on Tuesday, February 15th, 2005 at home with her family by her side. Marilyn was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 5, 1927 to Virgil and Hortense Hockett. She was a resident of Colorado Springs since 1975 and was Secretary/Treasurer and co-owner of Adams Advertising Agency. Marilyn married Robert J. Adams on April 22, 1950 in Wichita, Kansas. Marilyn loved to travel, the theater, genealogy, reading and was an avid bridge player. Those left behind to celebrate Marilyn's life are: her loving husband, Robert: her daughters Pamela Helfrich (Mike), Rebecca Adams, Vicki Martin (Stephen), Judy Bauermeister (Don), and Amy Thomas (Todd). Her son, Kelly Adams (Donna). Marilyn also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous other members of the Adams family. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the Penrose Hospital Spiritual Care Department, Attn. Sister Lou Krippel, 2215 N. Cascade Ave., Colo. Springs, CO 80907. Bob - I just learned of Marilyn's death - I can't tell you how very sorry we are. It was such a shock to pick up the paper and read of her passing.



These words are trite I know - but you had wonderful years together - your great family, traveling, working together. You are blessed with many good memories and a strong supportive family.
