Wichita, Kansas - Rose Ann Bolinger, 83, of Wichita, KS, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at home. Rosary 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2024 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Rose was born in Hillsboro, KS on January 23, 1941, to the late Mary (Dvorak) and Mike Franta. She was a nurse at St. Francis for many years. On May 26, 1961 she married Tony Bolinger, Jr. in Pilsen, KS. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Roy, Leonard, Richard, and Lester Franta. She is survived by: sons, Michael Bolinger and wife Ann of Maize, KS, and Scott Bolinger and wife Wendy of Towanda, KS; daughter, Mary O'Shea and husband Michael of Stevensville, MD, and Bell Adair (Peyton) of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Hannah Adair, Zack Dennison, Luke Dennison, Laney Bolinger, Millie Bolinger, Addison Takats (Matthew), Logan Bolinger, Gabriel Adair, and Valor Adair; great-grandchildren, Tony Bolinger, Lenny Schreffler, Tracy Boyd, Torren Boyd, Greyson Takats, and Emilia Takats. Memorial donations to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market Wichita, KS 67202.
