Dear Melvard: Don and I will be praying for you! I know your loss is great, but God will see you thru this time of home-going for our dear friend, Alvena. We count it a privilege to have been a friend of hers! Someday we will see her again in a much better place!

Diana-We are so sorry to hear about your Mom. I still remember when she came to visit me when I was in the hospital. She was so sweet and shared Christ's love with so many! You and your Dad will be in our prayers.

Avena was one of the significant people in my young adult life that encouraged my Christian Walk. Her support throught Women's Aglow helped lay a foundation that is still strong and passed on to my children and grandchildren. I know her reward is great!

There is so very much we could say about her. All her love for God and His people. How much she inspired us and others. How giving she was and how much we loved her. Please know that if there is any way we can help, we would be blessed to do so. God bless her family and friends as she is with Her Lord and where she has always worked to be.
