Brian Venable-Tucker Obituary

Brian Venable-Tucker
September 21, 1976 - September 2, 2021
Independence, Missouri - Brian David Venable-Tucker, a devoted father, husband, brother, son, grandson and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 2, 2021. He was 44. Brian was born to John and Caroll Tucker on September 21, 1976 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
After graduating from Eagle Heights High School Brian continued his education at Pensacola Christian College, Northland Baptist Bible College and graduated from Park University. Brian was incredibly gifted and was always the "go to guy" when anyone needed a hand or had a question about life. He enjoyed projects such as woodworking, shopping for antiques and refurbishing old furniture. A special memory of his was taking part in the "Tentmakers" when he took a trip to China to help mentor the teachers and professors on teaching English and American History. As a young man Brian found and married the love of his life Stephanie on March 28, 2009. They spend the next 12 years creating a life together. Brian loved his family fiercely, was an incredible father to his two children, doted on his wife every single day and made sure that they knew how much they were loved. Brian gave the best hugs and just had a way of making things easier for everyone around him. Every year Brian looked forward to Christmas. He would light up the house with décor, loved the sounds of the carols and had quite the collection of nutcrackers. He was an incredibly talented singer and truly had the best hair. Brian's witty, funny and kind personality will be missed beyond measure by many friends and family.
Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie; children, Samantha Venable-Kauffman and Silas Venable-Tucker; parents, John and Caroll Tucker; brother, Matthew Tucker (Charity); sister, Amy Reynolds (Gary); nieces and nephews, Ryan, Lucas, Natalie, Ike, Izzy, Andrew, Oscar, Edee, Kaden, Ethan, Maddie, Emma, Blake, Licie and husband Alec; grandmother; Auda Martin.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Flossie Tucker, and Karoll Martin.
A visitation is scheduled on Wednesday, September 8th from 6-8pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Thursday, September 9th with burial to follow at Lobb Cemetery in Blue Springs, Missouri.

This is a late entry as I just learned of this horrible loss today. I was lucky enough to work with Brian in the asset management arena a few years back. He was always a solid choice for a good laugh, a solid business perspective and always someone I could trust to take care of tasks. Being I'm an insurance intellect, he quickly had to have me meet his wife Stephanie. Us insurance nerds can always unite in many levels. Stephanie is indeed, one of a kind and we quickly found commonality. We've all remained semi in touch through LunkedIn over the last few years. Sad I never got closer as friends to either, but I'll say to learn of the passing of him is just as devastating as it would be as a best friend. He was too young, and my heart is broken for Stephanie and the children. God speed for your broken hearts.

I first met Brian about 15 years ago when Brian and Matt decided, on a whim, that they needed to drive to Chicago for pizza, beers, and discussions about the Foreign Exchange market. Needless to say, we had a rollicking good time.

Over the years, Brian and I have kept in touch to talk business, investment ideas, and moral philosophy. Oh, how I came to enjoy those conversations and I will miss them so much.

To Stephanie, Samantha, Silas, and all who loved Brian, I extend my heartfelt condolences for the loss of this good and kind man.

May your faith in God give you comfort in these trying times.

May God Bless all of you.
