DOUGLAS OLINGER Obituary

DOUGLAS SCOTT OLINGER Douglas Scott Olinger, 75, passed away on May 14, 2018. His childhood was spent in Iola, KS and he graduated from Columbia-Hickman High School in 1960. Doug proudly served his country during the Vietnam war era, for the U.S. Navy. He was a successful businessman in the insurance industry. Doug dearly loved his family. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, sports and golf. Doug is survived by his children Kimberly Fitch (Tim), Gregory Olinger (Mary); grandchildren, Josh, Bret (Val), Nate, Alex, Alessandra; great grand-daughters, Evie, Lily and Finley; sister, L.J. "Deanie Olinger; brother, Dan Olinger. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Imogene (Saar) Olinger. Doug's final resting place will be MO State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
