FRANCES "PAULINE" GIBLER Frances "Pauline" Gibler, 90, of Blue Springs, MO passed away January 1, 2016, at the Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. She was born August 10, 1925 in Grundy County, MO to Lloyd E. and Hortense H. (Shields) Ratliff. Pauline graduated from Spickard High School and spent the majority of her working years at Western Electric, where she retired in 1983. In her earlier years, she enjoyed traveling. Pauline was very involved with her family history and studied genealogy for over 60 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She married Gorden Lee Gibler on May 17, 1946 in Troy, KS. He preceded her in death. In addition to Gorden, she was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dixie Kelley. Survivors include a son, Ray Gibler (Kay) of Blue Springs, MO; a daughter, Kay Still (Dale) of Jamesport, MO; two sisters, Virginia Coon and Carlene Lewis; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Eckert (Mike), Teresa Hamilton, Frances Whitney (Brad), Noel Gibler (Heather), Beau Gibler (Terri), Kip Gibler (Amie) and Kia Deis (Eric); 17 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. A funeral service celebrating Pauline's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, 15th & Main in Blue Springs. Visitation from 10-11:00 a.m., prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery, Trenton, MO. Memorials are suggested to the IMPACT Ministry at the First Baptist Church.
