Helen McAnerney Obituary

Helen McAnerney, 85, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2006, at Freedom Point Assistant Living in Overland Park, KS. Services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, at Holy Cross Catholic Church; with entombment at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum in KCK. Friends may call Mon., from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home; with a Rosary at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, Greater Kansas City Division, 6800 W. 93rd St., Overland Park, KS, 66212. Helen was born and raised in KCK. She was a farm wife for more than 35 years in Bonner Springs, KS. She belonged to the AARP and was affiliated with Holy Cross Catholic Church. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; one brother, Paul Saunders; one daughter-in-law, Mary. Survivors include sons, Donald and wife, Harriet, Shawnee, KS, Jim, Wathena, KS; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Condolences may be expressed at www.amosfamily.com.
