The Reynolds family lived across the street from the Behms on 37th Dr. I had gone to get my driver's license and I got the grumpiest MVD guy to drive with. I came home & Hank asked me did you get the license? - no I said - well, he said you will the next time - I am taking you there. We showed up in Maryvale MVD and he wore his PHX PD uniform straight from work and would you believe it - I passed. Others thought I was under arrest I am sure. I married and moved to California in '66 and we lost touch. I will remember the family - Bea with her wonderful laugh and Hank who was a great neighbor....Linda Reynolds Frye

We will miss you Uncle Hank! I remember visiting you and Aunt Bernita with my Dad when I was interviewing for a job during spring break of my last year in architectural school in 1979. I remember other visits when Pam and I were in the Phoenix area. You were always so kind and welcoming. May you rest in God's eternal peace.

If it wasn't for my interest in aviation I never would have had the good luck to have met Hank. Hank was a mentor to me when I first bought my Piper Comanche & a good friend for the past 30+ years.I will miss "THE BEHMER" everyday till we meet again. My only regret is that we couldn't have had more time together.

I will miss Hank and his little jokes when I called or visited his princess my Angel Bernita. I would call and ask him, Hank is the princess around. He also loved when I brought him and my angel those giant burritos (carne asada) from Rivas Mexican food. Bernita shared he had pain but when I would call on the phone for her I would ask so how are you Hank and he would say I'll never tell. I am praying for Hank to have peace while he is in heaven with no pain and joy that he can be the guardian angel to my little angel Bernita....Bernita you and your family are in my prayers for loads of faith, strength and peace during the years to come. God bless!

Aunt Bernita, Michelle, Danny, and Suzanne....my thoughts are with you all and your families. It is difficult and truthfully, no words really help. But, know that Uncle Hank was loved and respected by many. And personally, I will miss his smile. It always seemed to light up the room! I love you all. Julie

As I previously trained Hank when he first came on the Phx. P.D. We also car pooled and had some great laughs to and from work. I also enjoyed going with him to fly the remote controlled planes. He was a credit to the P.D.

Hank Behm and I worked in the PPD Communications Bureau in 1973-74 where Hank taught me much and was very kind and caring. No police officer could handle barking dog complaints like Hank! Yes, Hank was an inspiration to all who knew him and he will be warmly remembered by all.

The things Henry did to show us he cared. The sound of his voice. The wisdom he shared A piece of advice we will never forget. The way that he lived, examples he set. The work he put in to do things well. The places he'd been, the stories he'd tell. His greatest success that he was proud of. His hobbies, flying his planes, big and small. his passions, his Family, his laughter, his jokes and most of all his love. This was the MAN he was. These are memories that we will never forget and will live on and on in our hearts. I will miss you My Dear Brother and our weekly chats and Love you forever til we meet again.
