I am not sure how to put into words how much Jay meant to me. I loved him so very much. He was a wonderful Uncle, always had a smile for me and always expected a hug and kiss. He always had a story to tell to anyone who would listen. He loved to be the center of attention to make people laugh. I think one of my favorite stories is when he talked about when he would walk to school, at least several miles, barefoot, and when HE wanted to leave, he would just tell the teacher he was leaving to go hunting or fishing. He wasn't asking, he was just telling her. My dad (Jay's brother) has a lifetime of awesome stories of their life together from young children to old men and both loved to share those stories. Real or made up, we were never sure about Jay's but it didn't matter they were always funny. I don't think there was ever two brothers so close. Jay is going to be missed by so many people who loved him. He made a lot of people smile in his lifetime.
