With great sorrow yet with the promise of eternal life we extend our heart felt thoughts for your families. Our son Daniel recollected fond memories of Matt playing baseball with him and son Phillip his time with Matt and Mark exploring the woods.

I am so sorry for your loss! The world is less of a better place without Matthew. I pray that you find comfort knowing that you will be reunited with him again. What a wonderful gift that will be! I pray that each day, God pours out His mercy, love, and strength on you. I pray that your thoughts do not get stuck in darkness but are filled with all the wonderful memories that you had with Matthew. I pray that your precious daughter grows up always remembering and knowing the love that her daddy has for her. I pray that she grows up with vivid memories of him. And I pray that as you go through this normal time of grieving that God keeps you lifted out of a pit of depression and sadness and fills you with His peaceful presence, especially on the days that seem so hard to face. May the Lord bless you for the faith that you have in Him.
“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

I am so sorry for your loss. Matt was a great guy! I enjoyed working with him, Mark, and Vicki at KCCA. You are such a special family. I am out of town - arriving this evening - so I will miss the memorial service. I am disappointed about that but I will continue to pray for all of you, Molly and Harper included. May God grant you comfort, hope, and peace through this very difficult time.
