Being in Nancy's aerobics class in the eighties was what started us on a lifelong devotion to exercise and fun. She was a shining light. We miss her always.

Ms. Ditch was always amazingly kind, neighborly, and considerate. As I grew from an elementary-school classmate of of her son to a working adult living in the same neighborhood, her presence and that of her family walking, tending gardens, and running errands - and the pleasant words she invariably had for me, even as her illness intensified - gave me a precious example of true community. Rest in peace, Nancy. We'll miss you.

Singing with Nancy in the Kansas City Women's Chorus was a joy. For one season I was able to hear her sweet voice in my ear. She was kind, positive and most of all, lovely. She is missed.
