Died: January 27, 2022 in Geneva, IL
Peter C. Lee MD, age 54, of Geneva, passed away January 27, 2022 at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva with his loving family by his side.
He was born February 1, 1967, in Chicago, the son of Shee Yee and Jenny ( Ng) Lee.
Peter graduated from St. Francis High School and then Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Peter earned his doctorate of Internal Medicine from St. George University Medical School. He completed his residency and practiced at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY, as well as in private practice. Peter was passionate about biking, skiing, race cars and travel. He most loved spending time with his beloved family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Helen Chan DMD; his most caring & loving mother Jenny Lee; his dear sister Philana Lee; Uncles and Aunts Michael (Dolly) Ng, Raphael (Cathy) Ng, Eddie (Kim) Ng, and Angela (Michael) Driessen; cousins Nathaniel (Jade) Ng, Amanda (Robert) Sanders, Elijah Sanders, and Christian Sanders; and many other dear relatives and friends.
Peter was preceded in death by his father Shee Yee Lee, his paternal grandparents Ying & Sun-Yoke Lee, maternal grandparents Luke & Tang Chun-Sun Ng, and cousin Mark Tak-Wah Driessen.
A private funeral mass was held at St. Peter Catholic Church and private burial was held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Geneva.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois, 215 W. Illinois Street #1C, Chicago, Illinois 60654 or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087 would be appreciated.

Somehow we missed this until now. As regulars in fact every week for many years at Mrs Lee's lovely restaurant in Geneva, somehow we did not know about this incredible loss. Mrs Lee is warm and personable and it is unthinkable that we did not express our condolences until now. May every comfort and peace come to this wonderful family.
